When did you start gaining weight?
When I went to secondary school, aged about 11.
What was your heaviest weight?
What made you decide to lose weight / what was your turning point?
I actually had a couple of embarrassing moments: the first was when I only just about fitted into the easyjet aeroplane seat, and the belt only just did up with about 1mm to spare after I stood up and moved my stomach out of the way!! Then I got to the Holiday Villa in Cyprus and whilst I was getting out of the pool, I broke the step ladder… and I had just been dumped by my bf at the time. I knew that something had to change.
How much weight have you lost?
How did you lose your weight?
All naturally with healthy eating and exercise!
How long did it take you to lose your weight?
It took about 3 years because I took it slowly, I have been maintaining now for 4 years!
Did you do any exercise during your weight loss journey?
I started with walking and jogging, moved onto some weights and zumba, now I do body combat and weight training!
What was your biggest motivation?
Wanting to feel confident and look good in my own skin!
What was the hardest part about losing weight?
Keeping it up, and being kind to myself. It is so easy to give yourself a hard time when you are losing weight because your week wasn’t “perfect”. Give yourself credit, you are trying. It is all about effort, not perfection!
What used to be your favourite food?
Pizza and Pasta!
What is your favourite food now?
One thing you miss about being overweight?
Ohhhh good question. I miss having an excuse for being lazy and not doing things!
Favourite body part?
How did you reward your accomplishments?
I don’t really have accomplishments now. I have been in the game too long! Haha!
Now that you’ve lost weight, how do you keep it off?
Exercise and just watching what I eat. Limiting carbs, drinking water and being sensible.
What did you do when you reached your goal weight?
I didn’t have a goal, because I had so much to lose I didn’t ever think that I would make it. I just took it day by day!
What was your dream “skinny” outfit once you lost weight?
Skinny jeans and high heels!
Do people treat you differently now that you’re thinner?
100%! The change is astonishing, especially with men. I am not invisible anymore.
How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I believe that I can do anything that I want to, if I put my mind to it!
What’s your #1 weight loss tip?
EXERCISE!!! If you move your body this will change everything!

Be kind, limit carbs and drink water!
