Here’s my first what I ate weight loss Wednesday post.
Breakfast this morning was a bowl of porridge. I usually put 1/2 cup of rolled oats & some water in a bowl and microwave it for 1.15 minutes. Then I add some unsweetened coconut milk, cinnamon & fruit.
My morning snack today was 2 mandarines. The mandarines I’ve been getting lately haven’t been that good. They always seem to be really dry inside – maybe it’s not mandarine season at the moment!?
Lunch today was a salad. In the salad I put mixed greens, chicken, salad cream, brown rice & dried crispy noodles. I’ve been loving to add these noodles into my salad lately, they just add a really nice taste and crunch to my salads.
My afternoon snack today was some watermelon. I’m not having much luck with fruit at the moment, again it wasn’t amazing!
I was feeling a little lazy today so dinner was pretty simple. I had 2 Linda McCartney vegetarian sausages, a vegetarian sausage roll and some green beans. Can I just say, these sausage rolls taste amazing! I think you could fool a non vegetarian person into thinking they were actual meat sausage rolls. I’ll definitely be adding these to my weekly shopping. It’s always nice to have something that you chuck in the oven if you’re having a lazy day and can’t be bothered cooking dinner from scratch.
